Born in Brazil, Coach Stefani grew up playing the sport he loved and achieved his dream of becoming a professional soccer player.
A member of the 1996 National Championship team at St John's University in New York, Stefani graduated with a degree in Sports Administration in 1998. After playing for 4 years at the college level, Stefani played at the professional level in the English Football Leagues for 8 years (Portsmouth FC; Swindon Town FC), and Major League Soccer for 6 years (LA Galaxy; Columbus Crew - part of the 2008 MLS Cup Championship team; Philadelphia Union). After 14 successful years as a professional, Stefani hung up his soccer cleats and started coaching kids while also working as a sports agent for First Wave Sports Marketing.
Coach Stefani, who is a licensed USSF coach, has been coaching both younger and older kids for the past several years. He loves coaching kids and helping them to develop their soccer skills and techniques. As a father of two young children, he understands that kids have a better learning experience when in a fun and playful environment.
